Video
ArgoNeuT collaborator Josh Spitz gave a talk on ArgoNeuT and MicroBooNE at the 2009 Users Meeting at Fermilab, on 4 June 2009. Video of the talk is available here.
Almost Ready!
Construction of ArgoNeuT is nearly complete. After recieving safety approval and filling the cryostat with argon, the detector will be ready to go. It will be run first on the surface to detect cosmic rays before being placed underground in the NuMI beam.
Cryostat Arrival!
The ArgoNeuT cryostat arrived today and is now located at the Proton Assembly Building (PAB). Above-ground commissioning of the detector will occur in PAB before moving to the NuMI tunnel.
Construction
The ArgoNeuT cryostat is nearing completion at PHPK in Columbus, Ohio. Commissioning of the project in the Proton Assembly Building (PAB) will occur in February and early March, with data taking in the NuMI tunnel to follow immediately after.
